Housing
Housing is guaranteed for all CASA Barcelona students throughout the duration of the program. All students are housed in program arranged housing in centrally located student halls of residence around Barcelona.
Students who meet specific criteria may opt our of program housing and make an Independent Housing request. These will be considered on a case by case basis.
Residential Facility
You will stay in a single room at one of the residence halls, which house a mixture of Spanish and international students. Newly renovated, these residences have furnished rooms, shared kitchens or a small kitchenette, private bathrooms, free internet, TV, and air conditioning/heating. They also have common areas where students can meet with friends and classmates. The residences are centrally located and a short metro ride (20-30 mins) from downdown Barcelona. Students should view the city of Barcelona as their campus for the semester and expect to regularly commute to various neighbourhoods for classes and activities.
Housing Placements
CASA Barcelona has a limited number of rooms in each residence, and some are better equipped to meet specific accommodation needs than others. Housing arrangements are made based on any housing accommodations approved formally by an office of student accessibility services. This process ensures that every student has appropriate housing.
Academic Year Students (Full-year Students)
Full-year students will have the option of finding their own accommodation for the spring semester. They must inform CASA-Barcelona staff before the spring semester commitment deadline about their choice of housing for the second semester.
