12th - 26th September: Courses at local universities begin
10th - 24th December: Program end date (students leave the program the day after their last final exam)**

Spring 2025 Semester

13th January: Arrival in Barcelona
14th - 31st January: Orientation and Pro Seminar  
3rd - 12th February: Courses at local universities begin
30th May (approx.) - 30th June: Program end date (students leave the program after their last final exam)**

** The exact departure date is based on each student’s final exam schedule. The departure date is the day after the last final exam. Final exam dates are often not published before the semester starts, so students will not know the date of their final exam, and, therefore, their return date, until after arrival. Thus, we strongly recommend purchasing an open return flight to the US or one which does not charge for making date alterations.

Language requirements
Minimum of six semesters of college-level Spanish (or the equivalent). Students who have not reached the six-semester Spanish level, but have completed a combination of at least intermediate/advanced Spanish and some Catalan coursework are also encouraged to apply.
