Housing is allocated by Trinity College Dublin at the Binary Hub residence. Binary Hub is situated close to both the Guinness Brewery and the River Liffey, as well as many colleges and language schools in Dublin. The ‘hub’ style of accommodation is similar to housing typically found on a U.S. campus. Binary Hub houses over 450 students, and provides excellent common facilities and an active social events calendar. Rooms are stylish, fully furnished, and have plenty of storage space. Students share a kitchen/living space, and have access to the Binary Hub gym, common room, study space, and laundry.
Keep in mind that most Irish students live at home and commute to their university, while those who do not live within commuting distance live in private apartments and do not live in on-campus housing. Therefore, many international students studying abroad in Ireland live in Binary Hub, creating a diverse mixture of students who share a common living space.
