CASA Granada Courses

Students arriving in Granada with Spanish proficiency at levels 6 and above (according to the CLM’s scale), regardless of their academic program, are eligible to take the CASA course that is available that semester (see below). These courses are taught by UGR and CLM faculty, mainly at the CASA Center, and include several guided visits, walking tours and seminars by guest speakers. Taught entirely in Spanish for CASA Granada students only, these courses will run contingent on minimum enrollments:

Fall Semester - Identity, Diversity and Prejudice in Contemporary Spanish Society: A Multidisciplinary Approach

Spring Semester - Grappling with Spain’s Traumatic Past: The Spanish Civil War, Francoism and Historical Memory

You will have access to the syllabi, which are posted on our protected website, once you have been accepted.
