Academics
CASA Cuba students take a mix of courses at the CASA Center at Casa de Las Américas, and the University of Havana. All courses are taught in Spanish by local Cuban faculty. CASA courses are smaller in size, more interactive, student-focused, designed for little to no prior Cuba knowledge and with a high learning curve, more akin to US/international formats. University of Havana courses allow for study alongside local students in a variety of formats. Classes are larger in size, but the University offers the ability to participate in Cuban student life through sports and social and cultural activities.
