CASA Brazil students will be placed in at the Uliving Rio (https://uliving.com.br/en/rio/) student residence, created through a repurposing of the storied, art deco Hotel Novo Mundo.

Uliving Rio is an ocean front property offering unobstructed, panoramic views of the picturesque Guanabara Bay. It’s also located adjacent to the Catete Palace and Gardens, Brazil’s presidential palace until the relocation of Brazil’s capital to Brasilia in 1960.

The Hotel Novo Mundo was built in 1950 in preparation for Rio de Janeiro’s hosting of the 1950 World Cup.
